The first step in getting your repairs started is contacting your insurance company and filing a claim. Once you file your claim and receive your claim number, your insurance company will need an estimate either from their own adjuster or from an independent body shop. You can then choose which body shop you would like to make the repairs on your vehicle.

Your insurance company should issue you a claim number when you report the accident to them. A claim number is necessary for us to provide your insurance company with an estimate.

No, by Louisiana State Law, you have the right to choose a repair shop to fix your vehicle without any interference from the insurance company beyond suggestions.

When you have your vehicle towed to our shop, we will pay the towing company at the time of drop off. In turn, we will bill your insurance company for reimbursement along with the repair costs.

Additional damage, or supplemental damage, is often found after repair work begins. As an experienced repair shop, we contact you and your insurance company about the additional damage and receive approval from both before proceeding with the additional work. We work with your insurance company so you don’t have to pay out of pocket for supplemental damages.

Our shop is normally open Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. However, in certain circumstances, arrangements can be made for weekend drop-offs. Please call the shop at 225-751-6602 for details.

Vehicles have certain parts on them that wear out over time such as tires and exhaust components. These parts are subject to betterment charges during repairs which are established by your insurance company and based on the condition your vehicle was in before the accident. Your insurance company will only pay for a percentage of the new part since your previous one was already used.

We will keep in contact with you and notify you when your vehicle is scheduled for repair and when it is ready to be picked up. If we come across additional concerns or problems, we will notify you as soon as possible. During the repair time period, you are welcome to call us with any questions you may have.
